Le Shepherd Education Centre courses are mainly separated into Science, Math and English. Individually ,they are broken down into various specialisation for various academic levels. All of them follow the main ideology of Le Shepherd Education Centre’s 3-tier learning process (Theory, Practical and IT Application).
Theory:
Learning about the in depth knowledge on how each concept work.
Practical:
Besides practising, we also bring in easy to understand models, games and for science, they get to carry out experiments to link up concepts on the spot!
IT Application:
Watch education videos online to better understand certain concepts and also try out simple Java Applets to allow them to apply the concepts.
Upon launching of this new ideology in 2007, not only did student score well, they also enjoyed every lesson, seeing how theory can be practised real life with videos and IT applications to better allow them to understand the concepts taught.

Value Added Services:
Besides all the comprehensive curriculum we have, Le Shepherd Education Centre is also well known to provide Dedicated Small Class Sizes, Specialised Extend Consultation and Free Classrooms for Revisions.
Every year there will always be a new project to push forward for further quality for our courses in Le Shepherd Education Centre. Examples such as the Le Shepherd Laboratory in 2007, addition of Amazing Youth Sprout Camp in 2008, launching of new Primary school courses in 2009 and a total revamp of all our syllabus and notes in 2010 to prepare for a whole new approach of education brought about to our dear students.

Le Shepherd Education Centre is well know for its diverse science courses providing both interesting concepts and experiments to better equip the students with knowledge that can be easily remembered through hands-on.
For the Primary school level, basic foundational Science is being taught to the students with interesting experiments to build up a strong interest in Science for the students. All of our students love Science lessons even if they do not like it before joining us. With the incorporation of Videos, we create a visual learning environment for the students.
From Secondary level onwards, science is being split into Chemistry, Physics and Biology, the 3 main disciplines of science. Students will start to understand where they are stronger at and our role is to amplify their strength in their expertise area and to fill up the gap in where they are weak at. From Secondary 3 onwards, students will get to choose their area of expertise and the depth they would like for each discipline (i.e. Pure Sciences or Combine Sciences). Our courses will be tackling not only their theoretical component but also helping them in their practical component, SPA.
As they progress to Junior College, they will further go in depth into 1 to 2 discipline of sciences, depending on whether their specialisation is in Sciences or Arts. At this level, we have qualified tutors ranging from MOE scholars, Ex MOE teachers to PhDs who are experts in their own field to impart their knowledge to our students. We understand that the level of difficulty for Junior College is very high and that is why, we bring in the best people to impart the knowledge.

Mathematics is essential in the learning of most disciplines. In Le Shepherd Education Centre, we believe that a strong foundation in Mathematics is not just a need, but a must. This is the reason for us to always improve on the materials to ensure that they are very comprehensive, covering every thought process when doing Mathematics questions and providing a step by step approach to achieve excellent results.
We are also researching into creating a fun approach of teaching several topics in Mathematics in Primary and Secondary levels by building a Mathematics Laboratory. Although this is still a research in progress and is being tested in a few of our topics, we believe that it will be fulfilled within a few years of hard work.
Our courses are structured from building a strong foundation to advance level learning for Mathematics. We believe that if the foundation of a student is not strong, he/she will create more problems by learning more advance knowledge. It is same as the fact that if the foundation of a building is weak, even if the body of the building is sophisticated and beautiful, the building will still fall. Therefore, at Primary level, students have to excel in Fraction and Ratio among other basic knowledge so that they can draw wonderful diagrams and get to know advance knowledge such as Algebra to better solve high level questions. PSLE level is rising and students need to be better equip with higher level skills even from Secondary 1 and 2 to better tackle the questions.
With a good foundation, students will find Lower Secondary materials easier to understand. However, students who are still weak with their foundation, have to go through thorough training in order to catch up with their peers. As they enter Upper Secondary level, they will realise that there is a sudden jump in the level of difficulty for Mathematics and they start to learn major topics such as Trigonometry, Calculus and Curve Sketching, which are foundations for Junior College (A’Levels) studies.
Once they reach A’levels, it is mainly about consistency and how one can keep up with a huge amount of workload in a short span of 2 years. A’levels is definitely a few times tougher than O’levels and with a well planned strategy, students will be able to Ace through their A’levels.

Since 2008, we have started with our curriculum of English. It was spearheaded by Teacher Stephanie Ng who have done a great deal expanding the courses from Secondary to Junior College. All of the courses have very good feedbacks. Since then students who joined us for Mathematics and Science, started to also take up English courses and we become a education centre providing a one stop solution for most of the major subjects from Primary School to Junior Colleges.
Our English courses includes not only the plain traditional Comprehension and Composition training, but also interesting role playing, debate, video analysis, crosswords games, collaborative essays and many more interesting activities to further develop our students creativity.
In the meantime, we are in the process of planning for an English Studio to ensure that the learning environment is one that is filled with surprises and creativity.
Join us now! Your children will love our courses and excel to be future leaders.
Motivation
At every step up the academic level, students will realise that foundation cannot be compromised. If they are not consistent with their work, they will be left behind. Therefore, we are starting to bring in a new set of motivational materials into our notes to better guide students along as they are young and require proper guidance.
Le Shepherd Education Centre has the first open-concept laboratory in Singapore and famous for our 3 tier learning system, bringing theory, practical learning and IT application together. With such Hands-On experience, students are definitely having fun and getting remarkable results.
